Terms of Use
Last updated 9 September 2026
WorkerMeter is operated by Serian Technologies. By using the app or the dashboard you agree to what follows. If you are using WorkerMeter through an employer, an agreement between us and that company also applies, and it takes precedence where the two differ.
Accounts
- Accounts are issued by invitation. You may not share an account, and you are responsible for what happens under yours.
- An invite code decides your role and your company. Attempting to obtain a role you were not issued is a misuse of the service.
What the evidence is, and is not
- WorkerMeter records the location your device reports, the times you clock in and out, and the photographs you take. It presents those records; it does not certify that they are true.
- Location can be falsified. A device deliberately reporting a false position is not currently defeated. WorkerMeter records when the operating system says a location was simulated, but a determined party can defeat the check. Do not treat the record as proof against a motivated adversary.
- Evidence attached to a submitted job cannot be edited afterwards. That is deliberate.
Acceptable use
Do not use WorkerMeter to falsify a record of work, to surveil someone outside their working time, or to store material unrelated to a job. Do not attempt to reach another company’s data, or to probe the service for weaknesses without asking us first — we will answer a good-faith security report at william@seriantech.org.
Availability
No uptime is guaranteed. The service is provided as it is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, Serian Technologies is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of WorkerMeter, including a dispute about whether work was performed.
Ending it
You may delete your own account at any time from inside the app or the dashboard. Your sign-in and personal details are removed at once; evidence already attached to submitted jobs remains part of your company’s record, as the Privacy Policy describes. A company may stop using WorkerMeter at any time and ask for its data to be exported or deleted. We may suspend an account that is being used to falsify records or to reach data it has no right to.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top changes with them, and account holders are told before a material change takes effect.
